Don't forget, passing an MOT test does not mean that a vehicle is legal or even safe to drive on the road. The certificate states that certain specified items would have met the required standard at the time of test. There are many 'non testable' items which could infringe the Construction and Use Regulations and various Road Traffic Acts.

Any vehicle having a MOT certificate is not an overall safeguard that it is safe, legal, reliable or mechanically sound to be driven on the road.

Many people are surprised at what is and is not included in the test. Some things which you are sure will fail may not even be tested or even looked at .....you may find that you'll be surprised!
