Located in Walthamstow, East London (click here to see a map of where we are), our garage has been on this site for over 30 years.

We have a busy MOT testing station carrying out around 3,500 tests a year, with an on-site fully equipped, but independent workshop. Keeping the testing side away from the repair side gives us full control on deciding on passing or failing a vehicle on merits and safety issues, not what possible "extras" we could make.

We have been testing cars and light vans for over 25 years, and have plenty of experience to go on. The only make of vehicle we have never tested is the McLaren F1 road car - so far! If you are the very lucky owner of one of these, and your MOT test is due, we're offering a free test (first come, first served) to reach our 100% record.

 

We seem to be one of the few MOT stations where you don't have to book in advance and can view close up the test in progress. Our customers can turn up and have their vehicles tested immediately. Our opening times are Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm, Saturdays 9.30am - 1.00pm. We're closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays (when most of this stuff gets written).

 

We take the view that the MOT test is a service to the customer as well as a safety check. Any items which look as if they may fail or cause a problem in the future are noted, and our customers advised. We also carry out minor adjustments, change light bulbs, wiper blades, fuel treatments and other small and easy to fit componants, all with no labour charges.

 

The workshop is equipped to rectify the latest electronic defects that modern vehicles can suffer from. Welding, general repairs and routine servicing along with some pretty naff singing are the daily norm.
